Beginning  Knitting               $55 inclusive
Learn the basic techniques of knitting, purling, casting on and binding off with a simple sampler
scarf, before you begin your first sweater. Fee for this two week class includes; tuition, beginning
reference book, yarn, needles and a gauge ruler. No previous experience necessary.

Learn to Knit Continental        $35
Learn the continental or left-handed method for holding your yarn and increase your knitting
repertoire. This one time, two hour session will cover all you need to know to get you knitting

Beginning  Crochet                 $55 inclusive
Learn the fundamentals of crochet in this two part class. You will learn how to make a beginning
chain, slip stitch, single crochet and double crochet. These techniques will be put to use in making a
lovely dishcloth. No previous experience necessary.

Baby Booties                          $45
Make a sweet little gift for the new baby in your life. This two-time 2-hour class is all you need to
make lovely booties.

Two time, 1.5-hour class, supplies included, ages 9-15
The perfect opportunity for  your child to learn the basic skills of knitting and casting on in the
company of other kids.  If time and attention permit, purling and binding off may be included.  Fee
for this class covers: tuition, beginning reference book, yarn and needles. No previous experience
necessary.

Kids Learn to Crochet               $50
Two, 1.5-hour classes, supplies included, ages 9-15
Kids will get their creative juices flowing as they learn the basics of crochet and begin their very first
projects; an adorable purse in the color of their choice. No previous experience necessary.

Learn to Spin                       $40 inclusive
Learn to make your own yarn from prepared fiber in this fantastic one time class!

Knitting 201- The Next Steps      $45
Two time 2 hour class. Supplies not included. This class is for you if you are ready to add to your
skills after taking Beginning Knitting, to remind yourself of certain techniques, or just add new skills
to your repertoire. Pattern reading and how to read a yarn ball band will be covered. Increasing and
decreasing will be covered if time allows. Bring your questions! Prerequisites: cast on, knit and purl.

Finishing Class / Help Session     $35
Need to sew your sweater together, pick up some stitches or weave in ends? This is the 2 hour
session for you! This is also an appropriate class if you need some other help on your project.
Limited to a maximum of 4 students per session, so you'll get the attention that you need.

Sweater Class                             $65
Increase your skills and knit your first sweater! You will learn how to: choose your pattern and yarn,
read and  follow your pattern and shape your knit piece to make a sweater that actually fits!
Additional skills: picking up stitches, assembling your sweater and correcting errors. This is a 6
session (2 hours each) class.
Prerequisites: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl, bind off and
recognize knit and purl stitches. Does
not include supplies.

First Socks Class                        $50
Unravel the mysteries of making socks! Cuff-down on double-pointed needles. Class will meet for
three, two hour sessions, so there is plenty of time to finish your homework! Skill level: confident
beginners and up; some experience with double pointed needles will help.
Prerequisites: You must
be able to cast on, knit and purl. Does
not include supplies.
Wednesday (Night 7-9pm)-                             August 4, 11 & 18

Advanced Socks Class                 $45
Ready to go beyond plain vanilla, take your next socks to another level! In this class we will work a
more advanced sock pattern and learn how to modify patterns to better fit your own feet. Cuff-down
on double-pointed needles. Skill level: intermediate.
Prerequisites: You must be able to cast on, knit
and purl. Must have some experience knitting socks. Does
not include supplies.

Intro to Entrelac                           $45
Learn the ins and outs of entrelac while making this great colorful knit scarf.
Fingerless Mitts                            $45  
Three, 2 hour classes. Keep your hands warm and stylish this winter with this quick project!  Less complicated than mittens, cuter than gloves, this project makes the perfect gift for that special someone (or yourself). Does not

The possibilities are endless with crochet flower creations! Expand your crochet skills and create something truly beautiful. This one time, two hour class is all you need. Does not include supplies. Prerequisites: Single and double

One time, two hour class. The Granny square offers endless possibilities in crochet. In just one class you will learn how to create the basic Granny Square blanket and how to join smaller squares into an afghan. Does not include

Intro to Crochet Lace                   $45
Intimidated by working with thin and/or mohair yarns? If you have basic crochet skills (ch, sc, dc) then sign up for this class and learn how to work with finer yarns to create beautiful scarves and shawls. Students must
purchase 1 skein Kidsilk Haze for short scarf, or 2 skeins for a longer scarf. Class comes with 2 scarf patterns that work well with lace weight yarns.
Intermediate Crochet Lace        $45
Confused when trying to read more advanced crochet patterns? If you are a confident crocheter (comfortable with ch, sc, dc, hdc) and are afraid to delve into more advanced patterns, sign up for this class. Class comes with a
beautiful lace scarf pattern, complete with both written and chart instructions. We will also learn about various blocking techniques - the amazing finishing touch to your lace pieces. Students must purchase lace-weight yarn such
as Silky Alpaca Lace (2 skeins), Lacey Lamb (1 skein), or similar.
Fair Isle Hat                                $50
Ready to unlock the secret to beautiful color-work while making a great hat? Choose from three hat styles and an assortment of beautiful yarns to let your creativity flow. Class will cover knitting in the round and carrying two

For kids 9 and up who have already begun knitting. Ready to move beyond squares? Need a refresher of the basics? Class will cover the purl stitch, simple shaping, ribbing, and sewing seams while making a
pair of slippers.

One, two hour class. Time to expand your Lace skills and move up to the next level! This class will review chart reading, and delve into a few more advanced lace stitches such as; k2tog-tbl, double decreases
and double increases and starburst effects if time allows  
Prerequisites: You must be able to cast on,  knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, yo and bind off and recognize knit and purl stitches. Does not include supplies.
Bottom-up hat                                                         $45
Two, 2 hour classes. A Great introduction to knitting in the round on circular needles and double points. At the end of this class you will understand making a hat from the bottom to the top, with a great hat
to show for it. Does not include supplies.

In this three part class you will learn to knit in the round using two circular needles while making an adorable animal. You get to choose one of three critters to make, soft and cuddly for the child or child-
at- heart in your life! Once you have learned to make one, you can make them all! Does not include supplies, (pick up supply list and purchase supplies before the first class).

Registration Policies
1) Class size is determined by teacher.
2) Classes fill quickly. Please sign up and pay in advance to ensure your enrollment.
3) Payment is due upon registration and is required to hold your place.
4) There will be no refunds given for missed classes.
5) If a class needs to be rescheduled due to weather or instructor’s illness every
effort will be made include everyone in the make-up class.
6) If you must cancel your registration no refund will be given unless there is
someone to take your place.  
7) No refunds after a class starts.
We may have to reschedule a class due to inclement weather or because of instructor illness. The instructor will make every
attempt to reschedule for a time that is convenient for everyone. Enrollment takes place with the full payment of the class
fee. We cannot hold spaces without payment. You may pay by credit card over the phone. Please know that even though
there may be space in a class at one moment, and hour later it may fill.
CHECK YOUR CALENDERS!! Refunds will not be given within two weeks of the beginning of class. Should a student be
unable to attend a class, and notifies us less than  two weeks before the class begins, a refund will be given only if the class is
full AND their space in the class can be filled by a new  student. (The more notice you give about cancelling, the better we
may be able to sell the space. Calling  the day of the class does not work.) Refunds will be given should a  class cancel due to
lack of enrollment.
YARN for classes MUST be purchased from yarns etc... or  Great Yarns.
THERE ARE NOT ANY MAKEUP CLASSES. Teachers are paid with tuition monies whether or not students attend a class.
